The Adams
Private Residence, Fort Collins
Delaney and Brooks were originally going to get married at a Lake in Fort Collins. However, there was constant rain in Colorado the entire week of their wedding and their day was not different. So they switched gears morning of to have both the ceremony and reception at Delany’s parents house. And, honestly, I’m so glad they did! It made everything feel more intimate, sweet, and filled with love. They decorated the house as perfectly as some venues, and you could tell both families were over the mood to be sharing this day with two people they love seeing together.
During their ceremony their officiant, a mutual friend, said that Brooks doesn’t have any phone number saved in his phone under a name. He only keeps the phone number itself and remembers who it goes to. However, it was the day that he met Delaney that he actually matched a name to a number. To this day she is the only one that has that permanent spot in his phone.
The day was drizzling and misty the entire time but it felt like something right out of a movie. All their family was happy to be out in the rain with them for the entire time to witness them make their love a permanent thing. Delaney’s dress got SOAKED, like weighed an extra 20-30 pounds soaked, but she walked around and danced in it like it was nothing.. what an absolute champ!
